Celebrating Brainchild's double win at the Waikato Business Awards

We’re proud (and still a little bit stunned) to share that Brainchild was named Small Business of the Year and also took home the People’s Choice Award at the 2024 Waikato Chamber of Commerce Business Awards.

These awards mean a lot to us. Not just because of the recognition, but because they reflect the work we do every day to help our clients build trust, grow their reputations, and show up in ways that matter.

As Angela said on the night:

“I have grown Brainchild while also growing my family. At one point, I’d spent more time on maternity leave than actively working in the business. That makes this award even more special and says everything about how exceptional our team is.”

The judges highlighted our growth, national clients, and clear vision for the future. The People’s Choice was decided by public vote, and we’re so grateful to everyone who backed us and shared our campaign. It was a powerful reminder that good storytelling and smart social content can really move people.

We’re a small agency, but we go big for our clients. These awards are a celebration of everything we’ve built so far and a signal of where we’re going next.
