Telling stories in the right places for the benefit of our thriving tech industry
It’s one of the most exciting weeks of the year not only for the technology industry but arguably for all New Zealanders. After all, who doesn’t use, depend on, engage with or benefit from digital technology?
For the second year, we worked with NZTech to create buzz and excitement around Techweek - a week-long festival of events that has something for everyone, from seasoned industry professionals to those looking to make their first forays into this exciting, challenging and extraordinarily rewarding realm. After being held virtually in 2020, we had the opportunity to drive attendance to more than 300 events nationwide in 2021.
Working closely with the NZTech team and event organisers around the country, we identified the Techweek stories that would excite and engage New Zealanders with the festival and our growing tech industry. Ensuring every story resonated with the right audience, we carefully targeted every piece of content.
Leaving no stone left unturned, we were relentless in obtaining the best possible results. Creating stories that offered insight and value, we were able to land top tier national media coverage that, once again, saw us exceed our project KPIs.
Landing interviews with The AM Show, Māori TV, Newshub, Newstalk ZB, NBR, Stuff.co.nz, Idealog and many more, we were able to help give the New Zealand tech industry a voice while celebrating the expertise we have right here in Aotearoa.
